We’re Running Out the Clock on This Recession Prediction

Last October, Bloomberg published an article that basically guaranteed readers that the U.S. would fall into a recession within a year of publication. Now, here we are about two months from the deadline, and the clock is ticking. Matt doesn’t think we’re facing a near-term recession. But there are a lot of folks out there who strongly disagree. On this episode of Making Money With Matt McCall, Matt breaks it all down for you. He discusses the odds of a recession this year and explains what the numbers are telling us about the future.

Matt also talks about the importance of trusting your sources. Most folks turn to highly educated and well-paid economists for information about the global economy. But Matt believes they should be the last people we turn to for predictions. Then, he analyzes three companies leading their respective industries and highlights what each of their stocks tells us about the odds of a future recession.
