Marc Morano posted a fascinating graph to CFACT’s Climate Depot.
It shows 485 million years of hotter temperatures than those we are experiencing today.
It’s always interesting to zoom out and take the long view. This graph was featured in the Washington Post, which took it from a scientific study published in the journal Science.
The authors claim to have assembled the most rigorous reconstruction of Earth’s past temperatures ever produced. They derived it from fossil evidence and computer models.
It is always useful to remind people that climate has always changed and that today’s temperatures and CO2 concentrations are very low on a geological timescale.
Thank you to everyone who gave so generously to help CFACT recruit, train, and educate student leaders. We couldn’t do it without you. If you have not yet had a chance to make your crucial tax-deductible gift, please click this link and join the fight.
