Using music to proclaim government waste, fraud and abuse a human right, the Secretariat of the Socialist International added a DOGE-shattering new verse to its anthem, The Internationale.

The new verse comes as many leftists are up in arms over Elon Musk’s “DOGE” efforts to root out waste, fraud and abuse from the U.S. government. Their tactics range from demonizing Elon personally, protesting Tesla dealerships, and even vandalizing and setting electric vehicles ablaze.
Not content with massive government spending alone, global Socialists are demanding that waste, fraud and abuse continue to occupy their rightful place. While spending may put food on their tables, the dedicated left is demanding at least a shot at amassing the kind of $4.2 billion fortune Venezuela’s Maria Gustavo Cisneros did. Cisneros is the daughter of former Socialist dictator Hugo Chavez. Such leftists are the living embodiment of the bedrock principle that while not all Socialists are entitled to equal outcomes, every Socialist is entitled to an equal opportunity to steal.
The composers of the new verse plan to present it at a serenade for U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and UN Secretary General António Guterres, who served as President of the Socialist International from 1999-2005. The organizing committee said in a recorded statement, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that the intersectionality between, climate, social justice, race, gender, class, waste, fraud and abuse provides an organizing principle under which all nations must unite! We call on all good comrades to learn our beloved anthem’s new verse and lift their voices in song.”
The American Left is making the new verse their own as they continue to demand President Trump and Elon Musk end their cruel examination of how government spends taxpayer money.
“Waste, fraud and abuse,” they declare, “are essential to Socialist success.”
