Electoral Reform And The Future Of American Politics | Hoover Institution

The Center for Revitalizing American Institutions (RAI) held Electoral Reform and the Future of American Politics with Larry Diamond, Edward Foley, Richard Pildes, and Brandice Canes-Wrone on November 5, 2025, from 10:00-11:20 a.m. PT. This was a timely discussion on how to counter polarization and extremism in American political life. Drawing on two years of work by the Task Force on American Electoral Reform, the panel explores practical, cross-partisan ideas for redesigning key elements of the US electoral system. This webinar examines how structural reforms can shift political incentives and foster a healthier democratic process.
