• Allow me to share my two cents on the Iran situation: The Iran nuclear issue for America is like Social Security spending: whoever touches it is going to fry his party for 10+ years, but if you don’t deal with it, it will eventually blow up in your face. Do I think a nuclear Iran will ever directly threaten the security of the US? Not really. Nuclear weapons are typically defensive tools for regime survival. What it will threaten is the power of the US dollar, by challenging the regional security pact and the oil trade monopoly that gave the USD its superpower status. Unfortunately, most average Americans don’t understand how much of their fortune, quality of life, and national security is tied to the strength of the USD. Both issues were created by Democrats. Both are lose-lose issues.

• Texas turned blue because of the war, gas prices, the rising cost of living, and immigration. By contrast, California has some of the highest gas prices, one of the highest costs of living, uncontrolled immigration and when Obama went to war in Syria, it never turned red. This kind of disparity in voter behavior will doom America.
