Proud Of Being An Independent Or A Moderate? Don’t Be.

Saying “I don’t commit to any party,” or “I don’t take sides,” might sound noble – as though it’s a shield, placing you above the slime of coarse politics — but is it, and are you, really? The truth is, while it may be fashionable to call oneself an “Independent” or “Moderate” or “Libertarian” it is rarely a label that can survive the refining fires of reality. Not every Independent or Moderate falls into this category, but there are enough people calling for a third party to arise that it deserves this warning.
